E.A.T. World… Get Out Your Maps and Skillets

So, I’m a little late on the uptake on this one, but E.A.T. World (stands for Eating Around The World—clever, no?) is a fantastic initiative which encourages folks to try dishes from all over the globe. You try your hand at cooking— or tasting— foods from as many different places as you can, starting from A and working your way to Z. To use the creator’s example, trying foods from Australia to Zambia.

I found out about this gem of a program after a visit to VeganForThePeople.blogspot.com. Mike K., who writes the blog, had a tantalizing entry about Vegan Pho that I had to try my hand at. Upon reading through his entire post, I learned about his participation in E.A.T. World, and was hooked.

I’ve been looking for a challenge and some new recipes, so I’ve signed myself up; though, technically there is no sign up, no registration, no start or end date. This is more of a culinary appreciation/development exercise than anything remotely regimented.

Check out the E.A.T. World mission here. And I know you want to check out that yummy Vegan Pho recipe.
